Aperture Foundation’s Benefit Party & Auction will host The Ballad, Live, on October 26, 2015, bringing together some of the world’s most exciting photographers, photography-loving musicians, and celebrities. Held at Terminal 5 in New York, the event will offer art and music lovers the opportunity to own exceptional photography—including unique editions inspired by music.

The Playlist is an online auction of over 100 photographs, each inspired by a song or piece of music, by artists including Jeff Chien-Hsing Liao, Abelardo Morell, Martin Parr, Alec Soth, and more. All bids start at $250, welcoming both new and seasoned collectors alike. The auction is live for bidding on artnet Auctions beginning October 14, and will close on the evening of the benefit on October 26.

All proceeds directly benefit Aperture Foundation’s publications, public programming, and educational initiatives, and support the foundation’s mission of connecting the photo community and its audience with the most inspiring work and with each other—in print, in person, and online.
